An industrial piece of unrefined jute is nailed down onto a wooden structure. The artist put a second layer of fabric over the jute, which is black and shaped like a tree. The final effect, rendered through colour and fabric contrast, becomes even stronger thanks to the black threads going beyond the surface layer. (Alessandra Durante)
