The work is made of some cuttings taken from the newspaper Avanti! and focusing on the workers’ charter. Some women busy harvesting wheat are drawn in charcoal over the cuttings.

Articolo uno is a piece made with charcoal and newspaper cuttings. It is inspired by Millet’s The Gleaners although, differently from it, the present drawing is strongly political. It stands with the workers, protected and defended by the first Article of the Constitution. (Alessandra Durante)
